Over the past year I have had the distinct pleasure of having Anna Patten plan our wedding, working closely with her has been so enjoyable and easy. The result of these services culminated in the creation of an outstanding wedding celebration on August 24, 2013 for my husband, me and our guest. Beyond our satisfaction with the wedding day celebration, is my personal gratitude to Anna for making the wedding planning experience so easy, joyful, and customized to my desires as a the bride. Since we live in Ontario and the wedding was in the beautiful St. John’s NF there was lots that I had no control over. I had no idea what bakery was able to create my dream cake, what wedding favours would be appropriate and so on…During our communications Anna’s personable, down to earth style, and adept listening skills, eased my anxieties of destination wedding planning nightmares. Over the course of the few months we worked together, Anna consistently worked to understand what my personal aspirations were for the wedding festivities and coached me to settle for nothing less Anna worked very closely with my florist to create the roses I exactly wanted even though roses aren’t that easy to get on the island. The final result was incredible! Even my dog’s collar was beautifully decorated with the roses. On the wedding day it was raining and our ceremony was outside, you can only imagine the stress!! Anna was able to make it happen, she stayed positive and encouraging and even said there is no worries since she has purchased some cloth to wipe the chairs with. Everything was beautiful in the end and the rain held off just as we were getting married! Although we were not able to meet in person until the week before the wedding, Anna kept the momentum going on wedding planning logistics while simultaneously checking in with me on key decision points. Anna also displayed a discerning taste on key aesthetic choices such as centerpieces with very unique vintage set of vase, the table set-up for our grandfather’s memoir, and other guest amenities on the wedding day. She strived to work within my budget, recommending where and how to cut cost and when to invest. Looking back, her choices were on spot! The wedding was over and beyond what we had imagined! What a stress free evening….Everyone raved at how organized everything was. Overall, I would highly recommend Anna as a wedding planning resource for anyone looking to reduce the stress of being a bride in a large or small wedding, and interested in working with someone who is personable and who’s only agenda is to help you realize your personal wedding hopes and dreams.
